Julian Healey

Julian Healey, Director and Head of our Nottingham office, has been elected chairman of the Association of Property and Fixed Charge Receivers (NARA).

Julian, who leads our receivership service, is a Fellow and founder member of NARA and has been a Council member since 2009.

He is a chartered surveyor and operates widely throughout the Midlands alongside Roger Buncombe, who leads our Birmingham receivership team. Both Julian and Roger are RICS Registered Property Receivers and have more than 40 years experience between them providing professional and strategic advice to major lenders

NARA leading voice for fixed charge receivers

NARA was formed in 1995 by a group of professionals from various disciplines including property, law and insolvency practices. NARA represents members' interests at the interface with Government, the DBIS, the Insolvency Service, and other external agencies, and is now firmly established as the leading voice for fixed charge receivers.

Julian said: "I am delighted to be appointed as chairman at an exciting time for NARA, when the need for high quality, trusted, professional advice is so great, in what is a difficult economic environment. The high reputation of NARA among the banking industry continues to grow and is based upon independence and realistic advice given by its members. I look forward to working with the NARA membership and Council over the coming months, particularly in developing further NARA’s national profile."
